FCL Graphics Helps Kids Get Started
FCL Graphics continued its long tradition of helping out community organizations this summer by donating 21,000 flyers for the 2007 Kids 1st Health Fair, sponsored by the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) – Chicago North Shore Section.
In one day, over 500 volunteers met at the Miguel Juarez Middle School in Waukegan, Illinois, to provide 1356 children with:
- 714 physicals
- 195 lead tests
- 497 dental exams and
- 826 immunizations
All the children, ranging from kindergarten to 9th grade, were given a backpack filled with school supplies. “I hope next year [you’ll] pay us a visit during fair day to see how much your donation means to us,” stated Stephanie Victor, VP of Fundraising for NCJW, “in being able to provide school supplies to enable all children in Lake County to start school on an equal footing.”
